Aroma : Aromas of herbs, pine and fennel, fading into bold notes of lime sorbet and throat pastille, while eucalyptus and saddle soap follow. A splash of water opens up a flush of hazelnut, sweet vanilla and redcurrant before rich mint chocolate envelops the nose.

Palate : An intense wave of wood smoke with some dark chocolate and ground coffee. Sweet notes of lemon curd and peanut brittle break the surf with some sultana toffee and hazelnut. The magic of this rare dram continues with medicinal, spicy notes: menthol, lemongrass, anise, cloves and white pepper emerge from powerful smoky depths.

Finish : Sweetness and peat smoke slosh together with creamy vanilla toffee, dark cocoa and a warm, woody clove note. A powerful, intense and pleasantly long finish.
