Color: A deep mahogany brown streaked with golden highlights.

 

Nose: 

At first sniff, a rich bouquet of aromas pours forth. Notes of dark chocolate, ripe dark fruits like plums and berries, and warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg are present. Sweet malt notes mingle with a subtle smokiness that is characteristic of Islay whiskies.

 

Taste: 

The taste of Bowmore 18 Years Vintner's Trilogy is as complex as its aroma. A perfect balance between sweet and smoky notes unfolds on the tongue. Dark chocolate and dried fruit flavors are accompanied by spicy oak notes. A subtle sea breeze and a hint of peat smoke recall the salty air of the Islay coast.

 

Finish: 

The finish is long-lasting and pleasant. The flavors of chocolate and spice linger on the tongue for a while as the smokiness slowly fades. A touch of oak and spicy vanilla rounds out the flavor experience.
