The Don Q Double Aged Port Cask Finish Rum is a remarkable Puerto Rican rum that is first matured for 5 to 8 years in American white oak barrels and then aged for a further 3 years in European tawny port wine barrels.

Appearance : Deep amber with reddish reflections.

Aroma : Mild notes of caramel, honey and cherry cola, accompanied by hints of toasted coconut, cola nut and spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.

Taste : Soft and fruity with nuances of cherry, sweet apples and mild spices. There are also impressions of gingersnap cookies with fresh grated coconut, walnut cream, black tea, bitter cocoa, dates and figs.
