Aroma:
Initially, rich, fruity aromas of dark fruits such as plums, raisins and figs emerge. This is accompanied by notes of dark chocolate, roasted nuts and a subtle spiciness of cinnamon and cloves. Light oak notes and a hint of leather add depth to the nose.

Palate:
The taste is full and velvety with an intense influence of the Oloroso sherry cask. Dried fruit dominates, especially raisins, dried figs and a hint of dates. There are also notes of toffee, dark caramel and a pleasant spiciness reminiscent of cinnamon and nutmeg. The oak is clearly present but well integrated, giving the whisky structure and depth.

Finish:
Long, warming finish with lingering flavors of dried fruit, dark chocolate and a subtle oak spice. Light nuttiness and a hint of leather accompany the harmonious finish.
