Aroma : From the outset, a distinctive sherry note is evident, with rich notes of date syrup and raisins introducing this full-bodied dram.

 

Palate : A tannic, spicy element is introduced on the palate, along with notes of cola cubes, cherry menthol, cinnamon and caramel. The typical Springbank characteristics hold their own against the strong PX influence in the form of an obvious oiliness and a wet garnish note.

 

Finish : The tannic element continues through the finish, and the PX qualities come to the fore with notes of raisins and rich spices.

 

Limited to 10800 bottles.
