Kilchoman Machir Bay

Machir Bay is Kilchoman Distillery's calling card and the only permanently available bottling.

First introduced in 2012, a new and more mature version has been released annually since.

Matured mainly in bourbon barrels (200 litre casks) with a small influence of ex-sherry butts (500 litre casks), Machir Bay is a classic Islay malt - heavily smoky-peaty with balanced vanilla flavours, tropical fruits and a nice sweetness in the background.
