After 8 years of maturation in a bourbon barrel, this double-distilled single malt was finalized in 1st-fill Oloroso sherry for another 15 months, in fact it is 9 years old.
This selected barrel was bottled at 46% drinking strength, unchill-filtered and without the addition of coloring. The 950 bottles are individually numbered and hand-signed by the head of the company: Ciaran Mulgrew.
Aroma : In the nose it is nutty and sweet with aromas of hazelnut, roasted almond, cotton candy and honey banana.
Taste: Creamy and luscious, fruity caramel, date, fig jelly, strawberry juice or sponge cake base with vanilla pudding and strawberries, flan with caramel sauce.
Finish: Sweet and round with notes of milk chocolate.
