The name MACK stands for mosquito and MYRA for wet soil.
Put together, the name MACKMYRA has already stood for 500 years for a place between two rivers, where farmers used this hydropower earlier and built an ironworks and a rolling mill. Due to the small delta and the surrounding lowlands, there is a lot of wet terrain around the forests and fields. The perfect area for those small, white mosquitos that like to dance around the evening lights at the end of August.

This easily affordable single malt represents the craftsmanship and is made with pure Swedish ingredients.
You don´t just have to enjoy this whisky pure, Wheather as a component for cocktails or "on the rocks", it is very suitable.

It is easily to drink, with a well-flavored and youthful fresh character, hints of vanilla, pear and citrus fruits. 

 

 

Aroma : The aroma is fruity and light with notes of lemon and pear. It has a slightly vanilla oak note with a gentle spice surrounded by anise, mint and vanilla. 

Taste: The taste is fresh and fruity with a youthful and spicy character of pear, citrus fruits and a slightly vanilla oak note.
