The Springbank 17 Year Old Sherry Wood is a limited edition single malt whisky from the Campbeltown region, bottled in February 2015 in an edition of 9,120 bottles. It matured entirely in sherry casks and has an alcohol content of 52.3%.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Intense sherry notes with hints of dried fruit, spices, chocolate and oak.

Palate: Full-bodied and slightly oily with flavors of rich fruit cake, soft toffee, coffee and ripe cherries.

Finish: Long lasting with notes of dark chocolate, citrus and a subtle saltiness that is typical of Springbank.

This whisky impresses with its complexity and depth, which is characterized by the long maturation in sherry casks. The combination of sweet and spicy notes and the characteristic Springbank funk make it a special treat for lovers of sherry-matured whiskies.
