Aroma: Elegant, dry peat smoke on first sniff, gradually opening up to Kilchoman's distinctive fruity character. The clear influence of the fino sherry casks provides dry, smoked oak, balancing with the smoke of the heavily peated Kilchoman malt. A lingering aroma of sweet caramel as the whisky begins to open up.

Geschmack: The sweetness of honeycomb is immediately apparent on the palate, gradually giving way to rich toffee and caramel. The Kilchoman spirit combines candied fruit and the fresh citrus fruits found during distillation. Flaked almonds and a delicate peat smoke remain throughout.

Abgang: Long, considered finish that combines the malty spirit of Kilchoman with the ripe citrus profile from the fino sherry casks. A subtle peat smoke that enveloped the palate now shares the finish with a hint of dark chocolate.
