Aroma: The nose of the Octomore 14.1 is intense and smoky, as you would expect from Octomore. There are notes of sea salt, peat and medicinal smoke. Beneath lies a sweet fruitiness with hints of citrus and apricot.

Geschmack: On the palate there is a powerful smokiness accompanied by a hint of charcoal. The sweetness from the nose also comes through in the taste, with fruity notes of lemon zest and ripe pears. There is also a spicy spiciness that gives the whisky depth.

Abgang: The finish is long and intense, with persistent smoky and spicy notes. A pleasant dryness develops that caresses the palate.
