Aroma : A powerful flush as of smoked cream, mint and toffee with Ardbeg's classic notes of fennel and pine resin. The scent of a campfire in the distance mingles with herbal and fruity notes (banana and tropical fruit) and fragrant candle wax.
Palate : A lively, spicy-hot pepper flavor leads into a sweet surge of creamy lemon sorbet (with candied apples, pears and oranges), hints of carbolic soap and tar, creamy toffee, anise and chili pepper.
