Aroma : Rich, elegant and rounded. The sweetness of toffee, caramel and vanilla mingle with mossy notes and hints of mulled wine. Then come scents of honey ginger and milk chocolate truffles with cinnamon. A splash of water reveals notes of orange fizz, cloves and Brazil nuts.
Palate : An oily yet peppery texture leads to a burst of rich, sweet flavors. Syrupy toffee and milk chocolate are accompanied by notes of clove, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg. Meanwhile, fruity undertones of raisins, dark plums and bitter oranges find a delicious balance with baked rye bread and salted nuts.
Finish : Long and nutty, full of spices, leather and a touch of anise.
