Description: 

Maritime aroma paired with the quality from the Sauerland.

In 250 liters VirginOak barrels (fresh oak, not pre-occupied) is placed each about 250 kg, hand gutted, fresh herring in a water, wine and pickling salt brew.

The pickled herring is stored in the infusion for 6 months and releases its aroma to the oak barrel. Then the wooden barrels are emptied and filled with our London Dry Gin.

The recipe and procedure was completed in collaboration with Johann Lafer, using juniper berries of the highest organic quality.

A novelty in the gin world and for the palate. 

Nose: Mild juniper aroma accompanied by light citrus notes with a maritime touch of seaweed and a fresh sea breeze.

Taste: Pleasant sweetness, followed by a slight salt note integrated in round juniper aroma - pure maritime experience!
