Colour : The Islay Journey has a golden, honey-like colour that shimmers beautifully in the glass.

Nose: On first sniff, a smoky aroma immediately hits the nose. This is accompanied by sweet notes of vanilla and caramel. There is also a slightly salty breeze, reminiscent of the sea air of the Scottish island of Islay. The aromas of peat and smoked wood are very present here.

Taste: The taste of the Islay Journey is an exciting mix of smoke and sweetness. The smoke is intense but well balanced, reminiscent of bonfires and maritime notes. The sweetness of vanilla and caramel brings a pleasant balance to the whisky. There is also a slight spiciness that adds a certain complexity to the taste.

Finish: The finish is long and smoky. The taste of peat and smoke lingers on the tongue for a long time and is accompanied by a touch of oak. It is an intense and satisfying finish that underlines the characteristics of Islay whiskies.
