Nose :

Slightly floral nuances reminiscent of summer meadows.

Palate :

Gentle oak presence accompanied by a pleasant spiciness.

Sweet and fruity notes continue, with ripe pears, light peach and a hint of apricots.

Hints of malt and grain give the whisky body and structure.

Honeyed sweetness that caresses the palate.

Slight smokiness or peaty hints might be present, adding subtle complexity to the profile.

Finish :

Medium to long finish with an aftertaste of oak and spice.

Fruity sweetness remains present, but gradually fades as the flavour slowly fades out.

A pleasing balance between the different flavours remains, making Mackmyra Expedition a harmonious and well-balanced whisky.
