Arran Barrel Reserve presents a warm golden hue with light amber reflections.

 

Nose: 

On first sniff, the whisky reveals a sweet and fruity note. Aromas of ripe apples, pears and citrus rise to the nose. A slight malt sweetness and a hint of honey round out the bouquet.

 

Taste:

A pleasant combination of fruitiness and spiciness unfolds on the tongue. Sweet notes of vanilla, caramel and honey mingle with fresh fruits such as apples, peaches and lemons. A light pinch of spices such as cinnamon and ginger adds an interesting complexity.

 

Finish: 

The finish of the Arran Barrel Reserve is medium long and pleasant. The fruity notes fade gently, while a subtle note of oak and a hint of spice hold back. A slight dry character rounds out the flavor experience.
