Colour : This Ardbeg has a light golden colour reminiscent of pale straw.

 

Aroma : The nose reveals an intriguing blend of peat smoke, typical of Ardbeg, and sweet, fruity notes. There are distinct hints of freshly cut grass, citrus, green apples and a subtle vanilla note.

 

Flavour : The first impression on the tongue is intense peat smoke accompanied by sweet, creamy notes. A pleasant warmth develops with a hint of pepper and salty sea breeze. The fruity notes from the nose also come through in the flavour, with hints of orange peel and pears.

 

Finish : The finish is long and lingering, with lingering peat smoke and a pleasant spicy note. It leaves a lasting impression of the flavours that have developed during the enjoyment.
