Nose : 

The nose of this Ballechin reveals a wealth of aromas. First you notice a sweet smokiness that is characteristic of Ballechin. There are notes of dried fruits such as sultanas and dates, accompanied by hints of vanilla and toffee. The smoky elements are complex and reminiscent of wood fires and BBQ smoke.

Taste : 

The taste is intense and full-bodied. The sweet smokiness remains present and is accompanied by notes of dark chocolate, roasted coffee and spices such as cinnamon and cloves. There is also a pleasant oak note that indicates the long maturation period. Despite the high alcohol content, the whisky is well balanced and unfolds nicely on the tongue.

Finish : 

The finish is long-lasting and warming. There remains a pleasant smokiness accompanied by sweet, spicy notes. It is an intense, complex whisky that will delight lovers of smoky single malts.
