Aroma : The Ballechin 2013 Horseman No. 2 shows a rich and complex aroma. Initially you notice sweet notes of caramelised sugar and honey, followed by ripe fruits such as apricots and pears. There is also a subtle smokiness, reminiscent of peat, but not overpowering.

 

Taste: On the palate, this whisky continues to develop. The sweetness continues, accompanied by hints of vanilla and oak. The smokiness becomes more intense but still balanced, creating a pleasant balance between sweetness and smoke. There is also a hint of spice that adds depth to the whisk

 

Finish: The finish is long-lasting and warms the palate. The smokiness remains present and is accompanied by a pleasant dryness. Sweet memories of fruit and oak linger.
