Aroma : 

Elegant, dry peat smoke on first sniff, gradually opening up to Kilchoman's distinctive fruity character. The clear influence of the fino sherry casks provides dry, smoked oak that balances with the smoke of the heavily peated Kilchoman malt. A lingering aroma of sweet caramel as the whisky begins to open.

 

Taste : 

The palate immediately reveals the sweetness of honeycomb, which gradually fades into rich toffee and caramel. The Kilchoman spirit combines candied fruit and the fresh citrus found during distillation. Flaked almonds and a delicate peat smoke linger throughout.

 

Finish : 

Long, thoughtful finish that combines the malty spirit of Kilchoman with the profile of ripe citrus from the fino sherry casks. A subtle peat smoke that has coated the palate now shares the finish with a hint of dark chocolate.
