Mackmyra Muddus is the first release under the new small batch concept. The whisky has been carefully blended from exceptional casks and presents a vibrant palette with notes of raspberries and cloudberries.The recipe for Muddus is 72% oak casks saturated with raspberry wine, with half of this batch matured in rum casks for added sweetness and depth. 21% of the blend was aged in new American oak barrels, while the remaining 7% was aged in wine-aged barrels with cloudberries. 

Aroma : Floral and full aroma with pronounced spicy citrus notes. The longer the whisky is aired, the more prominent vanilla and caramel become, along with subtle notes of cloudberries and raspberry jam.

Palate : A warm mouthfeel, with flavors transitioning from oriental spices to sweet berries, both blue and red. The cloudberries end up further back in the mouth and are complemented by caramel and vanilla, creating a complex flavor profile with many surprises. 

Finish : The aftertaste is long and balanced. Hints of cloudberries, spicy heat and fruity yuzu linger long after the whiskey is finished.
